All About the Leaf Sheep
We are very small creatures, about the size of a grain of rice, that live in the waters around Japan, Indonesia and the Philippines. We are the only non-plant organisms that can photosynthesize. While eating algae we absorb the chloroplasts which allows us to indirectly perform photosynthesis. Another cool thing about us is that we are our own night lights. We are bioluminescent due to the chloroplasts we absorb.
